Hi there, my name is Victoria H, and I am a female home carer. I have been in the care industry for over 25 years, and for part of my career I have provided care to those who needed assistance with activities of daily living. I am known for my caring and friendly personality, always going beyond my duties to help those who need it.
My motivation for caring stems from a desire to help people lead independent lives. I understand that sometimes people need a little extra help to continue living in their homes, and I am proud to be able to offer this assistance. I can drive and have my own car, which allows me to travel to my clients when needed.
My skills include assistance with bathing, toileting, dressing, catheter care and companionship, making sure my clients are comfortable and safe at all times. I have extensive experience working with clients who have conditions such as mild cognitive impairment, are bedbound, have anxiety and more.
When I'm not caring for others, I enjoy walking, playing card games, decorating, socialising and reading. I also love being around animals and am comfortable with pets such as cats, dogs, fish and rabbits.
